These guys.
Robot Mode
Lockdown is a Deluxe. He will also tower over your Voyager toys like they are nothing but mere specks of dust on his horizon line, and won't have to crack his backstrut too hard to peer up at the likes of Leader Class Megatron. He's a lanky 'Con who has more legs than torso and more arms than...uh...shins, and he knows how to use his height to his advantage.
Lunch-money. Now.
And whilst his alt-mode is basically all-black with red-tinted windows (as you can see below), his robot form has blocks of a gorgeously deep neon green that definitely make him stand out in the crowd. The splashes of silver on his multiple spikes and the neon yellow of his claw-hand complement the body, whilst the flashes of red on his toes (from his headlights) and the red light-piping give him that spooky, scary edge all bad ninjas should have.
Too sexy for this...um, bumper?
His transformation is way awesome, too. You may notice from my photos that he has zero car kibble dotted around his lean mean frame, and that's because it all folds up neatly into body parts. Heck, the majority of his car mode forms the legs via a series of simple hinges, whilst the middle-back of the car folds out into the arms. The head, as with TFA Prowl, hides in the main body section, whilst the windshield doesn't so much make for a backpack as it does some nice detailing.
SO LOCKDOWN LOOKED INSIDE HIS VERY OWN CHEST AND FOUND ROCKET POD
Although not really.
Also, if you don't want to use the hook on his hand, you can totally strap that beast to his bum to make it look like he's wearing one of those very British tailcoat things.
Yeah, baby.
On the downside...the hands. Oh Primus, the hands. Hasbro, what the fuck were your toy department thinking? On my Lockdown the problem has been fixed, but allow me to give you a visual demonstration of how they were before:
Ook, much?
Chimp hands. They gave Lockdown chimp hands. I'm sure someone thought they looked like they were just casually hanging down at his sides, but damnit all, hands hang straight, not crooked at the wrist. Unless you have arthritis, of course, but Lockdown doesn't strike me as a victim of that.
The fix for this is very simple, but it shouldn't be necessary. It's a flaw that keeps his robot mode from gaining a solid 10/10 from me, and that's a shame because otherwise he is nigh on perfect. He balances well, has good posability, and is 100% faithful to his on-screen counterpart.
Alt-Mode, Then
Lockdown's alt-mode is what the Batmobile would have looked like had Batman been evil.
"You what?"
...I'll just let you sit and contemplate that sentence for a moment, shall I? Right, done? Excellent. Let's start again.
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrawr!
Lockdown's alt-mode is a gorgeous muscle car that you really don't want to mess with, regardless of Batman. There is absolutely zero robot-mode kibble on display (the red tint of the windshield even makes his head unnoticeable) and the EMP generator sat on the nose just makes for one badass engine block.
Bite me, Dean Winchester.
And the spike detailing isn't overdone: the spikes on his wheels remind me of Roman chariots; the spikes on his roof remind me of those things that keep pigeons off of banks' roofs; the spikes on his bumper remind me of Mad Max. (Unfortunately, I can't move beyond Thunderdome. /Tom Servo.) The black colour-scheme is broken only by two slashes of green on his front, which give him a streamlined edge, and this is not dull or boring: it is menacing as hell. In fact, this is what Lockdown's entire car-mode is all about: subtle meancingness.
Shut up, it's a word now.
So, let's recap!
The Bottom Line
Price Anywhere between £5 and £10.
Location Trade on TFW2005; check eBay.
Vehicle Mode 10/10.
Robot Mode 9/10.
Overall 95%, a solid A. Should have been 100%, but the hands ruin it.

Much jest is pointed at his "Childbearing hips" but Lockdown is still the hook-handed highwayman of DOOM.
One of the best characters in animated all episodes with lockdown are awesome as is the toy even with gimpy hands

Looky here: http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/TFfixes_006.jpg
Hook man hands man hook hands stuck on car.
Anyways, Lockdown is pretty awesome in any respect. His hands are like that to lure you in to a false sence of security. Then he guts you liek a fish.
@ MrVash - Yep, look at the reply MatterSmasher gave you. I did mine using a Citadel Push Pin/Hobby Drill, and my craft knife. My fingers can personally attest to this.
And man, I forgot to add in my review that he was voiced by The Man, The Legend, The Lance Henrikson. Sigh. *goes to watch Aliens*
I don't care how many films he's whored himself out to, Henriksen can do no wrong
Lance as Jesse in "Near Dark" is one of my favourites.
Don't forget the Super Mario movie :P
Near Dark is the perfect vampire movie.
Doesn't everybody try to forget the Super Mario movie?
Hell no. But only because the "goombas" were so lolworthy.
Noiceee! He's gonna overheat unless you turn his intake around though ;)
He is indeed a lovely lovely competitor for the spikiest bugger of em all! Greeet stuff!
