Comparative Review: ROTF Dead End vs ROTF Nightbeat
No, we didn't scan props from Back to the Future: Part II.
You would be hard pressed to find two other characters with larger cult followings than Dead End and Nightbeat, which is why they've received so many new figures in recent years. Let's take a look at their Revenge of the Fallen scout class incarnations.

Pictorial Review: Dark of the Moon - Cyberverse Starscream w/ Orbital Assault Carrier
Don't call him Flattop, because he's not. The packaging clearly says, "Starscream Orbital Assault Carrier."
*cough*
Damn it... OK, who am I kidding? He is Flattop.

Sky-Banana Review 2.0
Upon reading Brentosaur's Sky-Banana review, I thought I'd do a follow up review to give a different persepective on this infamous character known as Sky-Banana...
Mind you it's a long forgotten figure from the diaclone series before transformers were really transformers. Thankfully I was able to procure one this week to do a review on it just for you, our loyal readers. Sadly my original has fallen apart over the years, and some might say went rotten :(

Lugnut's Darkest Hour
Lugnut is stunned, mouth agape.
"..." - Lugnut, speechless at the sight of Rotormaster's light-piping.

LIGHTPIPING challenge accepted!
In response to Brentosaur, let G2 show you how lightpiping is done, old school!

This is Generation 2 Skyfall with his lovely light-piped visor. Beat that!

The Greatest Light-Piping Ever
I was going through some of my old Twitpic photos when I came across a photo I took to show off what I think is the greatest example of light-piping ever.
That is United voyager class Megatron with glowing red eyes that burn brighter than the fiery pits of Hell.

Hatchet is Metal
Just his name alone is insane. It is the kind of name that makes people soil themselves in fear. He sounds like the type of Decepticon who kills Autobots with blunt weapons just to prolong their suffering.
I would gladly go without food for a month to own this figure. This is the only offering from DOTM so far that has me genuinely excited. I've got a casual interest in some of the other figures, but I must own Hatchet. He looks like he leapt off of a heavy metal album cover.
Read his bio and other information at Hasbro's updated Transformers site.

Evil is Lurking in Florida
I saw something rather sinister on my way to the garage to get my Jeep (Hound) repaired.
Long Haul! The Constructicons are hiding amongst real construction vehicles in Florida! The end is nigh! Hopefully I can get Long Haul's autograph before humanity is enslaved/destroyed.

Sky-Banana
My kids never call me. Wait, do I have kids?
Sky-Banana is actually HFTD Sunspot, which is a stupid name that should hate itself. Nothing about him involves any fire or light and there isn't a spot to be found. He is, however, a flyer, yellow, and vaguely shaped like a banana. So henceforth I shall be referring to him as Sky-Banana. A much better name, don't you agree?

Orange Slice
"It's orange, only twisted."
I just picked up this sexy orange HFTD Oil Pan on clearance at Target. He was hidden behind a swarm of Insecticons. Oil Pan is a repaint of ROTF Brakedown and he is quite obviously meant to be a homage to Micromaster Skystalker.
